Who will actually be teaching the lessons?
I will. AIM Up Piano Studio is a single-teacher studio — Priscilla, with over thirty years of piano teaching experience in Edmonton. Your lessons are never handed off to someone else.
How long have you been teaching?
More than thirty years. I have taught beginners through to advanced students in that time, and many families have stayed with the studio for years.
Do you teach absolute beginners?
Yes. A great many of my students have never touched a piano before their first lesson. Starting from zero is completely normal here, whatever your age.
What are your teaching hours?
Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 8:30pm, and Sunday 10:00am to 4:30pm. The studio is closed on Saturdays. Evening slots fill up fastest during the school year.
Can we meet you before signing up?
Please do. I prefer to hold an interview first so I can understand the student's background and you can ask questions. There is no obligation to continue afterward.
Are lessons strict or relaxed?
Both, in the right proportion. Lessons are well organized and structured so progress is real, but the atmosphere is friendly and fun. Students should enjoy being at the piano.
